Born on July 16, 1958, in Agua Dulce, Ver., Mexico, Carmelo was a beacon of strength and resilience throughout his life, his spirit shining a warmth that touched everyone he met. His laughter was infectious, his love unending, and his stories captivating.

As a generous man, Carmelo believed in the power of giving, whether it was his time, resources, or wisdom. He was a wellspring of knowledge, always ready to share his experiences with those around him. His loving nature was most evident in the care and devotion he demonstrated to his family and friends. Carmelo was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, his smile being the most precious gift he gave to the world.

Visitation will be held at Guardian Angel Funeral Home, located at 2412 Little York Road, Houston, Texas, 77093, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 2:00 pm CDT. The Funeral Service will also be at Guardian Angel Funeral Home later that evening at 6:00 pm CDT. The Graveside service will take place the following day, Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:30 am CDT at Santa Teresa Cemetery, 912 Buschong Street, Houston, Texas, 77039.
